Here is the latest treatment for snoring hope it helps out tell me what you think of it?

. It is a little bit price-y but hey if you know of someone who can’t sleep and you they have that sleep apnea and are at risk for even death then the price should be covered by insurance I think. Any one know if it is covered by insurance? What do you think of the new device to stop snoring? Sounds like a good idea to me, if anyone has gets more information please tell me. Thanks

oh sorry that was not my intend to spam……i was just thinking if it could help someone it would be nice.. That is all.
Oh gosh thanks so much for making me laugh today. It is funny don’t you think? I like the one that said she was afraid she might actually kill him… and where it says they both snore and even the ones where they say sleeping in another room is cheaper. Oh I just pictured all of us talking about it and laughing our socks off. To hilarious

My husband was snoring and not sleeping very well for a few months. We had a lot of issues going on and neither of us were sleeping well. He went to a sleep clinic and spent one night. His AHI was 5 point 1. 5 through 14 is classified as mild sleep apnea. His oxygen saturation was 89%. He had heard all kinds of horror stories on how uncomfortable the CPAP machine was so he decided to lose some weight (20lbs so far), start exercising and eating better and taking melatonin at night for a more peaceful sleep. Both of us are doing so much better.

His DOT physical dr required a release from the sleep clinic. The sleep clinic refused to release him until he spends another night in the clinic and receives a CPAP machine. We have very good insurance and I see this as a subtle display of insurance abuse. They congratulated him on the efforts he has made to become more healthy but they refuse to acknowledge that he may be maintaining his MILD sleep apnea without any medical interference. Could I be wrong about the sleep clinic? Could he really need this contraption for his face? Can’t we control this on our own? He is sleeping fine now. Should he get a second opinion?

How to survive my husband’s AS?

My husband is very intelligent, has interests in all sorts of computers, radios, televisions, cars, books, art, most anything except me and other people. I have several serious medical problems (renal failure, severe osteoporosis, etc.) but still am active. He shows NO empathy whatsoever. I also have sleep apnea and am supposed to use a CPAP machine, but since he sleeps only with a window fan on the highest speed, I am far too cold to use the CPAP mask. Last week I moved into our guest bedroom. He has shown NO concern with this either. I am very depressed and have gone to a good psychologist for the last two years. He interviewed my husband at great length on one occasion. He has made the diagnosis based on my “reports” to him and this one interview. My priest has suggested I either divorce (I won’t do that) or try to distance myself emotionally from him, and live my own life in the house. I am trying to do this.

He does pay the bills (he’s an artist) as I am on disability for renal failure, he talks if I ask a question….but he rambles incessantly to anyone else, to the point they have to interrupt him.

Could mouth breathing be the culprit since I only use a nasal mask, still only able to stay up 12 hours a day. Plus I take stimulant medication for fatigue, provigl and dexedrine at fairly high doses. Its becoming frustrating I feel groggy and physically weak but not as tired as I was before treatment. Plus I don’t get severe sleep attacks like I did before so it is somewhat working. Any help would be great.

I’m pretty sure I have sleep apnea. I’m getting a study done next month, but all the symptoms are there. I’m scared it’s going to cost me a ton to treat it. Does insurance cover CPAP machines? If so, how much usually? I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. I so desperately wish for a good night’s sleep.
Sorry.. spelled dealt wrong.

sometimes i have lucid dreams where i am fully aware that i am dreaming and i can control them i try to make them last as long as possible when i am having them but they all end up the same,i end up having to realize in the dream that i am dreaming and wake myself up because i am not breathing and i try to move my body and can’t it seems like i am looking at my body and i trying to move it but im not i am just dreaming which is really weird and then when i finally get myself to actually wake up i gasp for air. i don’t no if lose of oxygen can cause lucid dreams or if lucid dreams can cause such problems. i used to huff paint and have been wondering if there’s a conection bettween my lucid dreams and sleep apnea or if mabye i could have caused a lower brain stem lesion from it, is any of this possible? any imfo would help i am majorly concerned thank you

Sleep paralysis?

I started having sleep hallucinations since i was 16. They didnt happen all of the time, and when Id see whatever, i would scream, run to a door and wake up. It happens.

Last night i fell asleep at 11PM(early for me, i usually only get 3 hours a sleep a night) I woke up at 11:26 to what appeared to be my bedroom door being shut and some man walking over to me. I screamed for my husband as loud as I can, a few times and ran to the door.

Does anyone know what causes these? I have mild obstructive sleep apnea, just had a sleep study done.
