possibly -ask your doctor. he/she may recommend some sleep studies to rule out apnea. ask for a referral to an ENT.
I dont have tonsilitis but I have tonsil stone, where my tonsil are deteriorating and hold little stone of something i dont what exactly, but i read online somewhere that if you have porblems with your tonsils that sleep apnea can occur along side mouth breathing.
Absolutely, I had the same problem for quite a few years. They didn’t want to take my tonsils and adenoids out until they knew that it was absolutely necissary. It cause all kinds of wretched things; chronic tonsillitis as well as lowering my immune system so that i was sick in general more frequently. Sleep apnea was a factor as well for sure.
