CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) Question?
I have a CPAP device since I have sleep apnea. I have been having trouble with my throat. Can a CPAP machine damage your throat?
It’s not a sore or dry throat. My throat seems to be having numbness and almost like a choking feeling around my Adam’s apple.

I personally do not use one, but I do know some people that do. The only thing I have ever heard was it would kinda dry out the throat, but set on a different setting usually helps.
I’ve been using one for awhile and haven’t had any real problems with my throat but you throat could dry out if your not using the type with a humidifier. Also, Make sure you keep it clean especially the hose. I could be possible the pressure is to low and you end up having apneas with the mask on.
