need info! A month ago I lost use of my left side but not paralyzed I have not had a stroke any answers?
I have improved, but not 100 % back to the way I was. My balance has been affected. So walking is not the same. I have had MRI’S and cat scans on my head. They can’t give me a diagnosis, except that I didn’t have a stroke they thought also that I have bells palsy but I didn’t think that it also affected your arm and leg, justb face and eye. I need some input, I don’t have insurance. I am 45 yrs. old. Have diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea. fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis.

A “mini-stroke”, also called a transient ischemic attack or (TIA), happens when, for a short time, less blood than normal gets to the brain. You may have some signs of stroke or you may not notice any signs. A “mini-stroke” lasts from a few minutes up to a day. Many people do not even know they have had a stroke. A “mini-stroke” can be a sign of a full stroke to come. If you think you are having a “mini-stroke”, call 911.
First off you need to see a doctor. It is always to get professional help when regarding your health. This sounds similar to something named Bellz Palsy, you might look it up. Not as much or similar to a stroke but can be something that can stay with you for a couple weeks or for months maybe years!
This might be off the wall but did they also check your spinal chord. I had a disk laying on my c3 and c4 on the spinal cord. It affected my walk and balance and my arms and legs off and on for awhile and then one day, i could hardly walk at all. I had a fussion on my spinal chord and they corrected it with one surgery (they went through the neck). The next day Most of my symptons were gone. The operation did not hurt at all. All I have left is numbness in my toes some and my fingers. have them check a little further down. Ps They thought I had Bells palsy too and other things.
If you dont have medical coverage youre screwed.
