does sleep apnea cause light-headedness, dizzyness, and feeling unbalanced. i also have high blood pressure and stress out easily. in the past two nights i’ve been waking up shaking. the first night, 5 hrs after i went to sleep, it happend. last night two hrs. after i went to sleep, dad and sister woke me up when they got home, it happend. i also don’t sleep that well because in my dream i feel like i suffocate and then wake up. the past week i was stressed out because i was going away from my parents with my cousin to my aunt’s in Canada for a chek-up over there and today, day i was leaving, i didn’t leave because i got pain in the middle top of my chest, but it went away, turned out to be air and gas in my chest. what is the main thing you feel when you have brain cancer/ tumor depending anywhere it would be located? Seizures right. i don’t have them.i’m really feeling light headedness but it’s also is hot. oh and i also felt chest tightness and presure which didn’t let me breath deep. i also felt head pressure and dizzy, but when i forgot about it,or rested on the bed, it went away. is this all caused because of sleep apnea. i haven’t gone to the docter or sleep speacialist, but going on tuesday to doctor so might get a sleep study done to so don’t say go to doctor.

My dentist needed to do surgery, so I was put to sleep and the doctor told me that I had some breathing problems. What’s happening is I’ll stop breathing for a bit, then when my body realizes it, I’ll gasp for air by reflex. It happened five times during an hour long surgery and he said it may happen 50 times during a night. Happens when awake sometimes too. Also I snore like nobody’s business.
He says I should see a doctor about this. What kind of doctor should I see?

I know that I should see a doctor for an official diagnosis and that Yahoo! Answers is not a credible method of determining something like this, but I already have an appointment scheduled for next week and am concerned in the meantime, so this couldn’t hurt.
I have a heart murmur as well as some form of arrhythmia where my heart will skip beats throughout the day. I’ve had this condition since I was young, and after extensive tests by doctors over the years, have been told repeatedly that the murmur is benign and nothing to worry about. However, over the past few months, I have been occasionally waking up gasping for air, coughing, and choking on my saliva as though I’ve just inhaled saliva into my lungs. In addition to this, occurring about just as frequently but on separate nights, I will wake up after having dreamt that I have had an extremely bad case of my heart skipping beats. Since these are just dreams, I normally would not be concerned, but the nature of these dreams reminds me of a specific kind where a previous dream is interrupted by a new dream about something occurring in or near my room.

I currently 19 weeks pregnant and things are going well. I never was diagnosed with sleep apnea but I know from what my hubby has told me and many other symptoms I have it. I was just wondering if I should ask my doctor about sleep apnea and check for a resolution during my pregnancy? Thanks so much

Did you know that Sleep Apnea is a serious and deadly disease which affects many Americans who aren’t even aware of it? The symptoms include snoring, daytime drowsiness/sleepiness, cessation of breathing during sleep, night sweats, morning headaches, loss of concentration and many others. I have lost two friends in the past two years to Sleep Apnea. Both were diagnosed and refused to use their CPAP machines. I was diagnosed in 2000 and use a CPAP every time I sleep.

I have had mine out, but I was 15. Does anybody have any good suggestions to preparing for the surgery and post care? He is really young, does anyone know of any kids his age who has went through this?

Is there a natural/cheaper way to deal with this besides surgery? Some herbs or tea or something? Thank you.
So she can stop using the mask after surgery right?
