I know that it is well documented that sleep apnea can cause seizures in a patient diagnosed with epilepsy but what about in a patient with no clinical history of epilepsy or seizure disorder. I can’t seem to find any difinitive references on the subject.
I asked my dentist to have a SnoreGuard created for me. This is a device that is used to treat Sleep Apnea. I paid over $700 out of pocket for this device. Now 18 months later, the new dentist as well as the Pulmonary doctor who diagnosed my Sleep Apnea, tell me that this is not a SnoreGuard and will do nothing to help my Sleep Apnea. I want my money back. This seems to me malpractice or bad service at best. What are my options?
