VA Compensation?
I had my C&P exam April 3rd The Doctor stated I had Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, COPD and hypertension. I use a CPAP, I take Insulin, and blld pressure meds. I am 10%ow the comp doctor diagnosed these things on Dec 28 of last year and told e to go back and file another claim and I did. My question is the diagnosis was 15 months after discharge but the comp doctor found these conditions. What should I expect?
This was not an appeal but an ammended claim which the comp doctor told me to do then i was sent to her again and she confirmed the aditional diagnosis.

Sit back and stay in touch with which ever service group,(VFW , AMVETS , ) is acting in your behalf. It took me ten years before I got my 100%. What ever the next rating is you will get a check for the difference retroactive to the time of the appeal.
Good Luck with it. You can expect to have to fight for it. My husband was service connected on both knees. He needed total knee replacment surgery on both knees. They wouldn’t approve that surgery, said he was too young. He had a bakers seist behind one knee, they wouldn’t remove it, said he was too old. He had an hyatael hernia, high blood pressure. He had a brain anyurism which he did survive. He was unemployable, he drew 40% which he had to fight for. You need to go to amvets to get help with this. Good Luck to ya.
